Dr. Christopher Balgobin, known to his patients as Dr. BBL, is a board-certified medical doctor and the medical director of Arijai Aesthetics. With years of experience in the field of aesthetics and body transformation, including liposuction, Avéli® cellulite reduction, and cosmetic injections, he is committed to providing life-changing results for the women and men he works with.
Dr. Balgobin understands the journey that his patients go through, as he experienced it himself more than a decade ago with skin removal surgery. He decided to spend his life giving the same gift of confidence to others, which led him to the field of aesthetic medicine. Now, he's proud to use his artistic eye and compassionate nature for the benefit of patients in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. Balgobin is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (where he is also board certified) and a fellow of the American Board of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM). In addition, he is board certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
In addition to body contouring and skin rejuvenation, Dr. Balgobin is trained in FUE (follicular unit extraction) hair restoration and penile enhancement. He also specializes in medical weight loss.
When he's not working with patients, he enjoys training and mentoring other aesthetic providers on the latest techniques and treatments. He is also an experienced public speaker, giving educational and motivational presentations to the public about how a person's lifestyle can shape their health.

This is my first five-star review for an aesthetics and plastic surgery practice, and I have visited several providers since my late 50s. I chose Dr. Balgobin, also known as "Dr. BBL," because of his warm personality, positive attitude, and genuine bedside manner—qualities that can be difficult to find in this field.I underwent a Lipo 360 procedure, skin tightening, and a BBL. Dominique was also present during the procedure, and both she and Dr. Balgobin made me feel comfortable throughout the experience. Although I was awake during the procedure, their continuous conversation, professionalism, and reassuring presence helped ease any anxiety I had.The entire team was supportive and encouraging. After the procedure, even the nursing staff shared in my excitement about the results. I am very pleased with my experience so far and look forward to sharing updates throughout my post-operative journey.Thank you, Dr. Balgobin and Dominique, for your exceptional care and professionalism.
